JOB SUMMARY
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Complex responsibilities related to primary focus of job area. Uses best practices and in-depth business knowledge to solve complex problems and improve products or services. May adapt procedures, processes and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Promote a safety culture by performing duties consistent with IIF.
• Responsible for authorizing and communicating changes in project scope to contractor, as needed.
• Assist the Supervisor the in the coordination, planning and proper work assignments for both internal and external Material Management resources.
• Responsible for assisting Material Management and contract warehousing groups in the field during ICS events by establishing new staging yard locations, set-up of new facilities.
• Ensure completion of work per the scope.
• May act as the primary contact for contractors or company members, as appropriate.
• Responsible for the purchase or rental of tools and equipment to support Material Management needs.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all departments of the Company to assure timely and efficient management of District, Plant, & staging sites locations, material delivery’s, and communication with internal and external customers.
• Coordinate Material Management and warehouse activities with other departments and outside entities as required.
• Provide documented communication of pertinent information between internal and external customers throughout the project to ensure a clear understanding of responsibilities and requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring Material Management members are checking and verifying material lists and waiving material for delivery.
• Perform job site inspections to confirm job-site readiness and coordinates necessary resources to optimize manpower and equipment utilization.
• Manage, coordinate, and schedule materials to ensure proper completion of project and ensures that excess material is returned, as required.
• Ensure corrective actions are taken as necessary to ensure performance of Material Management and warehouse functions as appropriate.
• Monitor and assess progress for contractors and Material Management members, as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years Material Management, Warehousing related experience; Or
• Associate's Degree and 6 years Material Management, Warehousing related experience; Or
• High School Diploma/GED and 7 years Material Management, Warehousing related experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• May be required to work overtime and weekends and holidays.
• May be required to work non-standard work schedules to include on-call.
• Requires wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• May be exposed to extreme conditions and inclement weather.

$72,322 - $90,397
