JOB SUMMARY
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
- General responsibilities with standardized processes. Works under limited supervision. Resolves routine questions and problems. Refers the more complex issues to higher levels. Follows established procedures to accomplish requirements of job. Some latitude for deviation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Process oil filled electrical equipment for oil plant management purposes; Verify equipment PCB concentration by sampling or PCBS computer program and enter information in WMGT.
- Manage remedial streams for disposal and reclamation (RCRA, used oil, solid waste, recyclables).
- Conduct SPCC, SW3P, RCRA LTSA, and AST compliance activities.
- Inspect and operate equipment (i.e. forklift, sky track, drum dumper, overhead crane, load rigging).
- Operate applicable hand tools.
- Prepare manifests and schedule shipments.
- All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Two (2) Years Utility Operations experience to include mechanical or technical experience (e.g. Equipment Operator, Remediation Tech, Service Tech,).
- Valid State Driver's License.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Recent work experience with OG&E in a similar role (which includes contract & contingent labor).
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work in the field and office environment.
- Requires availability to respond to emergency situation, as required.
- Obtain or maintain certifications.
- May be exposed to extreme conditions and inclement weather.
- Required to work with multi-crafts crews and other groups.
- Perform computer functions as needed.
